Effect of using nano silicon carbonate (SiCo₄) in feed on some hematological, biochemical of broiler chickens

Abstract

The present study was investigated to evaluate the effect of added nano silicon carbonate (SiCo₄) in determine some physiological effects on broiler chickens. The experimental treatments were arranged as follows; Group T1 received standard diet without any addition, group T2, T3, and T4 received standard diet supplemented with SiCo₄ (100,200 ,300 mg/kg) respectively from (10-35) day of age. The results revealed a significant increase the RBC count, PCV% and hemoglobin levels in the SiCo₄ supplemented groups. In addition a decreasing the level of glucose and triglyceride in the groups of SiCo₄ addition. No significant variation detected in the level of cholesterol, total protein, albumin, globulin, GOT, GPT, or the weights of liver and heart. This is a clear indication about the role of nano silicon carbonate to maintaining the stability of vital organs and the body fluids.
